Book on Atlantis being rethought
Our entire approach to the book on Atlantis is under review. Our thinking is now leading to publishing the entire book, all 3 books combined and all at once, as both an E-book and possible paperback. The first book: Paradise will still be available as an E-book at bookofatlantis.com. It will still be authored by Zarin. But all three will be combined as Atlantis: Beginning to the End. By C. Book one: Paradise was only the beginning and will still be available up until the completed book is released. Then Book one will no longer be available as a separate publication. As the three books are being combined into one, more dramatic elements will also be added to the first book. More or less fleshing the characters out.
Paradise covers the first thousand years of Atlantis and the necessary setup for the incredible depth, drama and detail to be found in Book 2: Empire. A tale of sex, intrigue, depravity, love, cruelty, kindness, violence, politics, technology, war, vengeance and the sources for so many of mankind's greatest mysteries now explained. Paradise was gone. The War of the Dolphins had ended and the Battle of Parmal victorious for Malis. The civilization of Atlantis was in ruins. Starvation and death where everywhere. Chaos threatened. An entire nation was traumatized. Malis had no choice but to institute drastic controls over the people. Becoming in the process, their first “King.” A title not truly understood by all involved. The real power in Atlantis lay elsewhere.Intrigue abounds throughout all levels of Atlantis. Plots, threats and murders. Only one White Adept remained with only a few Adepts of any color surviving as well. Atlantis was now incredibly weak. Danger threatened from outside the continent. The perverted Mutags were now Malis' occupying police force. One with very nasty habits.
Certain Women, the Amazi, angrily revolted and were eventually forced to seek safety outside Atlantis. They went on to create a ghastly culture of horror in two separate locations. The arrival of another "newcomer" reveals the location of the original land from which all Atlanteans were descended. Thus begins the establishment of the great Empire associated with Atlantis.This, the second thousand years of Atlantis' history, covers the era and death of Malis, the rise of his far worse son, Maris. The discovery and conquest of Bakara- a civilization on the northwest coast of Africa. The creation of the first Atlantean colonies of Pusan, Bakara, Egis, Adon and Piron. The rapid growth of Atlantean science with the discovery of new technologies.
It also includes the arrival of many new goods and strange animals onto the continent. The creation of new religions, gods and cults. A secret vampire cult begins. The development of flying craft and the construction of a huge fleet of gigantic ocean going ships. The establishment of a great trading Empire that would enrich Atlantis beyond its' wildest dreams. With more colonies still to come. Expansion of Atlantis' greatest city. The discovery of a unique material that glowed with light. A strange prophetic monument that consisted of pure crystal skulls.The marriage of Malis. This fabulous ceremony and the strange events that followed. The revolt of the Mutags and the terrible consequences which would lead to their extermination. The tragic death of Malis' wife and two daughters. The creation of the Sentrons. A fusion of two creatures. The building of a gigantic three ringed calendar. A great sculpture of a man and a lion combined into one creature.
